Diaper Deal Round-Up (10/03)

Parents can use all the help they can get finding the best deals on diapers.  On average, each child will use more than 4,000 diapers during the first 3-years!  Thanks to The Thrifty Couple for providing our weekly Deal Round-Up to help you spend less!

Walgreens

Walgreens brand diapers called W are on sale for buy one get one 50% off. This is essentially a 25% discount per pack.

Scenario:

  • Buy 2 Walgreens jumbo pack diapers sale for 9.99 each = $19.98
  • Then receive 50% off of one pack – $4.99 = $14.99
  • Then use the $2.00 off coupon from the Walgreens Infant Care book (will deduct $4 for buying two) = $10.99 for two packs or $5.49 each

*If you do not have a Walgreens Infant Care book, your store may have some behind the cosmetic counter for you to use.  These are the store copies, so you will not be able to get a copy yourself and they are out for distribution.  If you do have one already, ask for your whole coupon book back after they scan the coupon.  They may ask to keep this coupon, but some will let you have it back.  These coupons do not expire until 12/31/11.

Rite Aid

Rite Aid has all of their Tugaboos jumbo pack and mega diapers for buy one get one 50% off.  You can also get a $3.00 Single Check rebate through 10/25 for with the purchase of two Tugaboos diapers.

Scenario for Jumbo Packs:

  • Buy two Tugaboos Diapers jumbo packs for $8.99 each = $17.98
  • Then receive 50% off of one pack – $4.49 = $13.49
  • Then submit for the $3.00 Single Check Rebate = Final is $10.49 for two or $5.25 each

CVS

Huggies Jumbo pack diapers on sale for $8.99

Scenario #1 – Huggies Slip-On Diapers Jumbo Packs:

  • Buy 1 Huggies Slip-Ons jumbo packs diapers for $8.99
  • Then use $3.00/1 Huggies Slip-Ons diapers coupon from the 9/11 Smart Source Insert
  • And the $2.00/1 Saving Star digital coupon
  • Then receive a $1.00 Extra Care Bucks (CVS Cash) = final is as low as $2.99 each

Target

Target has the Big Packs of Up&Up Target brand diapers on price cut for $13.99.

Scenario:

Luvs Big Packs sale for $16.00.  In addition, Target is offering a $5 Target gift card when you buy two.

Scenario:

  • Buy 2 Big Packs of Luvs diapers any for $16.00 = $32
  • Then receive a $5 Target gift card, so when considering this discount = final is $27 for two or $13.50 each big pack (equivalent to $6.75 each jumbo!)

*Check through your stash of coupons for any manufactutrer’s coupons you may have to make the above deal even better!

Online deals:

Munchkin pack of 4 Jumbo packs on sale for $17.32 – $20.38 for four jumbo packs shipped FREE after Amazon Mom’s Subscribe and save additional 30% discount ($44.58) = as low as $4.33 each jumbo pack

    I think the SavingStar coupon is credited automatically, so you could use both the $3/1 and count SavingStar to make Huggies slip-ons $2.99 at CVS (Of course, this won’t work at my CVS – They didn’t have the slip-ons!)
