Chicken Egg Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
  • 8- 4 inch egg roll wrappers
  • 1 large can of white chicken breast
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 3 cup carrots, shredded
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup white bean sprouts
  • 1 garlic clove chopped
  • bowl of water
  • vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
  1. Add the butter, carrots, and onion to a frying pan. Saute until tender.
  2. Toss in the chicken, sprouts and garlic and saute another minute.
  3. Add bean sprouts plus salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Using one egg roll wrapper at a time, spoon in mixture and fold. Begin folding one end at a time and then roll. Using the tip of your finger, dip into the water and then moisten the edge of the egg roll wrapper and press against the side to seal the wrapper closed.
  5. Heat oil to 350 degrees.
  6. Place egg rolls in the heated oil and fry until golden brown - about 2-3 minutes.
