Quick Easy Biscuits
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. Baking Powder
- 4 Tbsp. Butter, cold
- ½ tsp. Salt
- ¾ cup whole milk
- Preheat oven to 400°
- Combine flour, salt, and baking soda, stirring well.
- Dice cold butter into small pieces.
- Incorporate butter quickly into flour using a pastry cutter or two forks to blend it in until it resembles fine crumbs.
- Add milk, stirring gently until just combined and forms a ball.
- Flip dough out onto flour covered surface.
- Flatten with your hands to ½” thickness, handling as little as possible.
- Use a glass dipped in flour to cut out biscuit shapes.
- Set biscuits so that the almost touch on a cookie sheet that has been buttered.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes.
- Makes 8 small or 4 large biscuits.
