Yahhh! Yard Sale is DONE!!!

Yard sales are a great way to get rid of unused and unwanted stuff, but it’s a LOT of work!  Thankfully, my MIL hosts our annual yard sale at her house.  I’m still whooped at the end of the day, though.  We were able to sell most of our items and donated the rest to Goodwill and a local homeless shelter (I’ll get the name of it for locals).  I’m ready to start Christmas shopping!  Now what to do with the other money we made?  I’m thinking vacation fund!

Hope everyone else had a relaxing Saturday afternoon!

    Dana,

This sounds so awesome! I would love to have a yard sale to get rid of some of our things but I don't even know how to get started…I know what to do, but the whole idea of pulling out things, organizing them, etc., makes me tired thinking about it. WHEW!

Awesome job…and I would definitely go with funding a vacation fund!

    Kay

    Kay,

I takes a lot of work to get organized and to hold the yard sale but it is totally worth it once you've cleared out the junk and made a nice profit.
