The Coupon Challenge and Mom on Dealz

Welcome to Tuesday’s Trips Blog Hop hosted by The Coupon Challenge and Mom on Dealz! The purpose of Tuesday’s Trips is to showcase any type of great shopping trip you’ve had this week. Share grocery store, drug store, department store, yard sale, etc. If you’re excited about your shopping trip, we’d like you to share it with us! Did your trip completely bomb this week? Let us know what went wrong.

We do ask that you visit both of your lovely hostesses (#1 and #2 spots) each week to see what we’ve picked up. Don’t have a blog? No problem. Leave a comment about your shopping trip.

I shopped at Walgreen’s this week to use up RR’s that expire today.  I’m not sure where my brain has been lately. I went to WAGS and picked up the items on the left then realized I had another $5 RR to use.  Back to the store I went.  Unfortunately, the free contact solution was sold out.  It worked out well enough in the end.

Trip 1
Crayola Washable Markers
Crayola Crayons
5 Penway pencils
Used $3.50 RR

Paid: $1.17
Saved: $11.48
Earned $1 RR

Will submit for $3 MIR for markers (prints at register)

Trip 2
1 Triaminic Fever Reducer
1 Penway Pencils (filler)
Used $1/1 Triaminic printable
Used $5 RR

Paid: $1.58
Saved: $7.50

Will Submit for $6.99 Triaminic MIR

Total Paid: $2.75
Total Saved: $18.98

$7.24 “Moneymaker” after MIR’s plus still have $1 RR

Adding our button to your post or a link back to us is always appreciated but not required.

I went to Farm Fresh this week too

Now it’s your turn…

They always sell out so fast when it's free contact solution. What is the rebate on the crayons? I am still kicking myself for not getting them last night 😉 Suppose we all have our moments!

At CVS they have a few of the triaminic and dimatap children's cold medicine on 75% off clearance. Most of the bottles were $1.74-2.74 when I was there on Sunday. If you are going for Sobe, you might as well check the medicine out. I think it is the 7/25 ss that has a 3/2 on the triaminic too. Either way, I spent $.84 for 20 sobe and 2 bottles of medicine. If it looks like I won't be using one, I will donate it later. Thanks for the posts!

I haven't been out to CVS yet, but I will be on the lookout for reduced triaminic! I'd say you hit the jackpot for sobe and medicine for only $0.84!

My children did not tell me until it was WAY too late that we needed cat litter. I didn't want to drive around so I just went to ff. They had a lot of laundry supplies marked down on clearance. I had to come home and get my q's because I only took the cat litter with me. I don't know if all of the store will have them but the manager who helped the cashier said it was because they were discontinued. Anyway, the tide stain release liquid and powder ranged in prices from 2.50-5.50 the 3/1 from the 8/1 pg made it free. Resolve was $1.50 (didn't get still have some left from ht sale) and green works was also $1.50. I had a q for the green works but I think it came from an all you based upon the way it felt and it's size. There were other things but none that had coupons out there right now. Either way, it would not hurt to go with laundry coupons clipped and ready tomorrow.

Good job on all the school supplies. I still haven't gotten the hang of shopping at Walgreens yet. My brain is occupied with CVS ECBs that I don't know if it can handle Walgreens' RRs lol

Thanks Jocelyn! That is why I don't shop at Rite Aid, too many stores to keept track of.
