Kroger and Chex Cereal have joined forces to help you whip up recipes for your holiday entertaining that are easy on your time as well as your budget!  To make things even sweeter, Kroger Family of Stores will have Chex cereal on sale so you can impress your guests without stressing your wallet. For 3 weeks, from December 2nd – December 25th, Kroger will offer Chex cereal at their lowest prices of the year!  Make sure to take the $1/2 Chex cereal coupons from the 11/14 and 12/05 General Mills inserts or the printable here to get your Chex cereal for even less!

We love Chex cereal in my house!  It is one of the few cereals that we all agree on.  The kids like the great taste, while I love the whole grains.  I know some of you will appreciate that Chex cereal has Gluten Free varieties & also offers Gluten Free recipes on their website!  While you’re on the website, don’t forget to take a look at the Chex Party Mix recipes.  I plan to make this delicious looking Chex® icago Party Mix recipe for a Christmas party we’re hosting at my house next week.  I think adults & kids alike will enjoy the Chex® icago Party Mix.  See the  recipe below.
   
Chex® icago Party Mix
 Prep Time: 15 Minutes 
 

 

 

 

 

  • 3 cups Corn Chex® cereal
  • 3 cups Wheat Chex® cereal
  • 2 cups Chocolate Chex® cereal
  • 2 cups bite-size square cheese crackers
  • 3 cups cheese popcorn
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar or molasses
  • 1/3 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
