I wanted to share Lori, The Coupon Consultant’s, recipe for homemade laundry detergent. She just tried making her own laundry detergent and was so pleased with the results that she posted the recipe, locations for purchasing the ingredients and a coupon! Lori doesn’t have the official cost per load yet as she’s only been using the product for 2 weeks. The anticipated cost is as low as a penny per load!!
You will need:
1 bar of soap (Fels Naptha or Colgate Octagon work well)
1 cup of 20 Mule Borax
1 cup of Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda
almost 5 gallons of water
Head over HERE to get directions and a coupon link for the Mule Borax.
I’d like to try making my own laundry detergent but I’m chicken.
Do you make your own laundry detergent?
Thanks, Lori!

I don't make my own, but I really wanted to try it. I might just give it a go sometime.
Jen,
I keep saying that as well. I was talking to a mom at my son's t-ball game the other day who makes her own and she's hooked.
