*I also used a $3 off Your Order that printed out from a Food Lion shopping trip last week

TOTAL: around $4 dollars for groceries + $1 donated to our troops.

Forgive the fact that I have no pictures of my shopping trips AND that the total numbers are rounded –  I had some weird experiences checking out, and a manager overrode a very picky register to make some of the totals closer to what they were supposed to be. The poor cashier was ready to re-scan the entire order for my first trip because her machine was acting so weird. But my favorite manager came to the rescue and worked it all out.

For my second trip the next day, I was happy to walk away paying just $2.46 cents, but realized when I got home that they didn’t scan 2 of my $1 coupons – which would have made my total go negative!  However, since they were so kind the day before (and I knew it had ended up in my favor) I let it go.

That day, my son also declared (as we stood in the checkout line) “MAMA! I has no shoes!” and sure enough, his flip flops were no where to be seen. Thankfully an employee overheard me lamenting about having to retrace our steps through the whole store to find them, and quickly told us that someone had already turned them in to the Customer Service Desk.

THAT is why I LOVE my Harris Teeter, yall.

How have your trips been? Please share!
