I finally made the journey out to this place to use my Groupon I had purchased long ago……wow….out there! Beautiful place and love Pungo! HOWEVER…..got to the counter to pay for my lovely finds and the girl at the checkout told me the Groupon did not cover “sale items.” This made NO sense to me as I paid $15 for a $30 Groupon which is exactly how it was sold through Groupon. Needless to say, I was NOT AT ALL HAPPY with this place. Just an FYI. False advertising is really a let down ESPECIALLY when you drive 30 minutes out of the way to discover something you are hoping is going to be really nice and then BAM! ugh! Lesson very well learned….
Oh and also….worth noting that there was a note on the counter leading me to believe that other Groupon customers were less than satisfied with their “rules” because it was saying Groupon customers…please be nice to the cashiers….really? oh well….learned that lesson well…..
Am I wrong in thinking that them signing up for Groupon to promote their business was supposed to keep the customer satisfied and make it a pleasant experience to spread the word about how great they were…..???
Wow, I don’t even know what to say. That is extremely disappointing! The fine print mentioned nothing about excluding sale items!
I agree that is not a way to promote a business. IF it was in the fine print then that is an entirely different story, but they left that part out and added those terms after people purchased.
So sorry you had to deal with that!
Not good for potential customers to read (groupon).
