*I too thought that being a blogger gave me a hosting advantage, but I have been turned down for 2 House Party’s since I was selected for the Bull’s-Eye Party.  I am sooo envious of Jackie for the Verizon Fios party!  A new party I really hope to get in on is the DJ Hero for the Wii.  My kids would go crazy over that game! 

I was selected to host a Bulls-Eye House Party last Saturday night!  Read my post HERE if you’re not sure what House Party is all about.  You can see from the picture above what was included in my kit.  Oh, we moved the party location to my mom’s house so we could utilize her pool.  Do you remember how hot it was last week?!

I really should have taken more pictures at the party, but I was too busy cooking and watching the kids swim.  Derrick was the grill master and got a lot of use out of his new grill kit.  The brush was especially helpful since he had to brush all the different sauces over the chicken as it cooked.

The Bull’s-Eye Regional BBQ Sauce flavors included: Carolina, Kansas City, Memphis, and Texas Style. We did a taste test using the Chicken-Memphis and Kansas City were the favorites.  Although, Carolina almost beat out Kansas City. Texas seemed to be the least favorite of the 4 sauces. My personal favorite was the Memphis Style.

On our menu:
Pork Ribs made with Memphis Style Sauce
Chicken-1 piece with each of the other sauces
Pasta Salad
Corn on the Cobb

We also played Cornhole.  This was a first for me, but I actually had a lot of fun.  I played on a team with my brother and we won!  Ha!  The kids also enjoyed the game.

Are these not the cutest funnels you’ve ever seen!?  I’d smile every time I used them-only $19.

Toy Story is all the rage right now, so I had a look around the Toys and Games section.  I found the cutest Toy Story Desk Chair for $38.95 or you can pick up the Leap Frog game for $17.99.

Since I’d looked at bedding for Monkeyboy, I figured I should look at lamps for LuLu.  She needs a lamp to go on the night table in her new big girl room.  I thought this lamp was cute and not too babyish.  The plus?  Polka dots!  Oh, how LuLu loves polka dots!  The price is pretty good too-$46.  Especially if $40 of it was free money!

I’m just giving all of my readers a heads up that I have a new giveaway coming up Monday!  When I was contacted about the giveaway opportunity I had to check out what was being offered to my readers.  Would you all be interested in entering?  Would it be beneficial to you?  Would it appeal to the masses?  I think the answer is unequivocally, yes!
