Affresh Cooktop Cleaner from Whirlpool Review & Giveaway

Affresh Cooktop Cleaner from Whirlpool Corporation is a great addition to my cleaning arsenal.  It is non-abrasive and has been proven to remove even the toughest baked-on residue, even grease heated to over 750 degrees Fahrenheit!  Now that’s a powerful cleaner!   When used as part of a normal maintenance program, it can help prevent the formation of residue that can build-up on cooktops.

I adore my cooktop stove, but it’s difficult to keep clean.  After cooking you either need a lot of muscle or a razor blade to remove the cooked food that has turned into a black residue.  Having a cleaner specifically designed for cooktops is a must!  I found Affresh Cooktop cleaner to remove stubborn, stuck-on food quickly and painlessly.  Simply add a small amount of Affresh Cleaner to your cooktop and rub with a dry cleaning pad.  After all the pesky food is removed, wipe it clean with a soft cloth.  It can’t get much easier than that!

I’m awaiting a new Whirlpool stove delivery this week actually. I didn’t realize the difficulty with keeping it clean. Sounds like I ned this product – fingers crossed! My cleaning tip would be heat water in pyrex measuring cup to aid in microwave clean-up.

My favorite cleaning tip is using Windex with Vinegar in it to get out tough stains on the carpet. Just spray it and use a sponge to wipe it. I know the smell isn’t that great but it works wonders!!

  3. Beth Hill says

Spray plastic storage rubbermaid type containers with vegetable oil (pam) before storing tomato based products to prevent staining.

Instead of throwing away used dryer sheets, I use them to get the hair, dust, and dirt along my carpeted baseboards. Thanks.

Microfiber cloths are well worth the money. I bought a pack at BJs and I owe them money for all the papertowels they have saved me over the years……use em throw them in the wash and repeat.

I use vinegar to freshen up my dishwasher and washing machine once a week to keep in clean and not smelling bad.

  15. Deborah Wellenstein says

I clean out my garbage disposal with citrus peel and ice. The peels make it smell nice, and the ice seems to take care of any lingering grease.

My favorite cleaning tip about cleaning stovetops is to clean it while it’s still slightly warm. Food spills are much harder to get off when they harden.

  18. Brittany Rebello says

when using windex to clean windows its better to spray it on the paper towel rather than the window
