I just requested a FREE Programmable Thermostat from VA Natural Gas. I would assume that most Gas companies would offer a similar program.
Programmable thermostats can help lower your energy bill by allowing you to automatically vary the temperature in your home. Research I read showed a saving of 10-30% on your energy bill. We like the temperature cooler at night but keep the house warmer in the daytime to conserve energy. Honestly, I often forget to raise the temperature until I’m freezing downstairs. I can’t wait to get my freebie and not have to worry about changing the thermostat!
