    I signed up for AT&T text alerts a while ago, when they first offered a $5 gift card to Starbucks. I’ve been pleasantly surprised — I thought they’d be spammy, but I’ve only received two texts since signing up!

    Unfortunately, I can’t sign up for the text alerts because I’m currently a T-Mobile customer. I did recommend them to my sister, though, who is with AT&T for her mobile service.
