I was pleased with the GM Promo this week.  I was able to get some freebies to make the kiddos happy.  Plus, I now have everything I need for our meals this week.

I forgot to buy eggs, again.  I have to go back for eggs so I’ll do the GM deals again with 6 Hamburger Helper, 2 BC Frosting & 2 BC cake mix.  My total will be $1.96 plus the cost of eggs.  Hamburger Helper is a great donation item.

How did you do?

After you purchase 10 Participating General Mills items from the back page of the ad, you will get $5 off instantly. That $5 comes off as $0.50 on each of the 10 items. So, if you buy 10 items – you will only pay $1.99 for the Trix cereal for example. You can mix and match any of the 10 participating items.

You can also use coupons to reduce that amount. Today, you can use the $1/1 Trix printable which will double making it FREE after the promo (-$0.50) and coupon (-$2).

Do you know if the deal still works if you buy several sets of 10? I usually don’t have more than 10 item so I’ve never tried to do several at a time. This time there were a lot of good deals. I may just have to ask the manager when I go in. “D” at the Farm Fresh on Kempsville is SO helpful and often greets me when I walk in!

Yes, you can buy multiple sets of 10. Just remember that only 2 like coupons with a total of 20 will double.

There’s also a CAT coupon good on next Hamburger/Tuna helper that prints when you purchase the Hamburger Helper- so using the .75/3 coupon makes them free and you get a coupon good on next purchase, or in my case, I split up my cart and used it on my next transaction. I received a 2.00 CAT when I purchased 6 boxes (which were free) and then a 1.00 CAT when I purchased 3. This offer will be good all wee (until the CAT runs out- not sure when that is-) b/c Farm Fresh will double the .75 everyday.
I purchased a variety of items on the list to make the 10 items- it’s tricky because you can only use (2) coupons for one item, and you want to get the best deal- so figuring out which 10 items to purchase can be a little confusing.
The Yoplait smoothies were also a freebie when using the 1.00 off printable, as were the Old El Paso microwaveable meals.
This was a great week at Farm Fresh!

I was able to buy several sets of 10 today. I bought 30 items in the deal and had no problem. Didn’t have to do separate orders on anything.

Wow. Today was my first time using coupons and I’m hooked. Bought $50 retail and paid $15! It’s a rush see the total drop lower and lower. I hit the farmfresh near the old Ames on vb blvd. and saw another couponer there with her binder. I need to get my binder started. The huge handful of coupons method worked but was a bit chaotic.
