I asked for your opinion HERE, and I received many great responses.  Thank you!  I’m always accepting comments/suggestions so feel free to comment or email me.

One comment was for local entertainment for children.  The first event I came across is at my local YMCA (Great Bridge/Hickory) only.  It is titled Kids in the Kitchen and is for school aged children.  This event is FREE and open to the public. The event will be held on Saturday, March 27th from 9am-1pm.  Call 546-9622 or look online for more details.

I do have a YMCA membership (yes, it’s a splurge). Many activities are offered for Y members such as Shamrock Hop at the Great Bridge/Hickory YMCA on Friday, March 19 from 7-8:30pm. This event is FREE but for member’s only-register in advance.  Shamrock Hop is part of the monthly Family Activity Night held at this Y location.

Please note that each YMCA holds different events and these two are specific for the Great Bridge/Hickory location ONLY.

Check out the YMCA website HERE for other YMCA locations and events.

We just joined the YMCA, eventhough, I agree, it's a splurge. I'll have to look for things like that in our calendar as well. Thanks for the tip.

Welcome, grab the calendar every month and look for additional flyers with more detail on the events.
We like to bring friends to make it more interesting for the adults
