I have a smallish trip to post for Farm Fresh today.ย  A nice surprise was a $10 promo code to Plum District printed out.ย  I’m not seeing why but it might be the Prego or candy???

They didn’t carry the Rhodes Warm n Serv and were all sold out of the skittles & starbursts.

Milk
Bread
Red Grapes
2 Milk Duds FREE
WhoNu cookies $2 – $1/1 from the 10/23 SS insert = FREE
2 Fleischmann’s Yeast $0.58
4 Prego $2
Corn Starch $0.69
Baking Soda $0.69
2 Pilly Cream Cheese = $3.38 (needed for LuLu’s school)
-$4 CAT from last week

Total Paid $11.44
Total Saved $18.20

I also went to Harris Teeter on Monday for items such as milk, coffee creamer, bread, fall squash, zucchini, mushrooms etc. and spent $32.04 (with no coupons!)

How did you do?

My hubby always messes up my trips too – but it’s more of him throwing stuff in the cart – kinda like my kids ๐Ÿ˜‰

They didn’t have any of the Hershey’s NONchocolate candy so I opted for 2 bags of chocolate candy for 50 cents each. Bic had a $1 off any stationary product coupon so I ran back tonite to get 2 free packs of pens and the cookies I missed this morning! The only other ‘surprises’ were the 100 ct Equal pink packets, free after coupon and the Gold Peak 15.8oz tea, free after FB coupon.

I did OK today…before coupons $71. after $42. But I had many items with no coupons such as Ricotta cheese ($9 bucks for Sergento! ah, no…got Richfood for $4 something same size!) I got 3 Kraft Parm. cheese and 7 shreeded cheeses. Took $5 off for each 5 I bought and i had $2/3 Parm…so wasn’t so bad. Got 2 bags of Hershey candy FREE!! No skittles or starburst in site…now our coupon is going to go BAD…..boo-hoo!

I know HT has Kraft B1G1 free on Kraft cheese but when you factor in the $5 off…it’s about the same…

Had to buy 2 capri sun for lunches…

All in all I saved 48% and that is better than paying full price any day!

Thank you so much for the match ups Dana! You do an awesome job!

Where did you get a $2/3 Parm coupon?? I need cheese but really don’t want to spend over $2 each.

$9 for Sargento ricotta? That’s crazy! $5 difference for store brand – wow!

I did pretty well today. 60% savings. 4 easy macs (.75 each), 4 cans of tomatoes (.50 each), 2 bags of candy (.50 each), 4 jars of Prego sauce (.50 each), Jif peanut butter (1.40)
3 cans of rotel tomatoes (.33 each), 2 bags of mission chips (free), 2 gold peak teas (free) 2 boxes of cookies (free), 3lbs ground beef, 2.5 lbs of grapes, 3 cheeses (1.00 each), bag salad (1.88, because I’m too lazy to cut my own salad), and a magazine (2.99) for a total of $22.34. I took my receipts to work with my, so I could check the prices better on my lunch and some of my co-workers said I was addicted and needed a support group, while others wanted me to teach them how to save lol.

You have a support group – we just tell you good job and keep shopping, though ๐Ÿ™‚

Once people start seeing your totals and that you are buying actual food for your family, they want to convert over to the dark side.

My FF refused to give me a rain check for the WhoNu cookies because the lady could not find them in the sale paper. Could someone tell me what page they were on?

I use rainchecks! I’ve asked about rainchecks for “unadverstised” sales before and they won’t do it at FF. I always make sure to get a raincheck at FF or HT. It’s something I learned from my mom growing up. We would go to the stores after she got out of work and of course they would be sold out of something. I’d always hate spending the time waiting at customer service, now I won’t leave the store unless I get one I need.
Just be cautious at checkout with one. If the cashier doesn’t enter it correctly your coupon for that item may come off without you noticing because of the way they adjust the price for the raincheck item.
