Syrup gone at 8am? I didn’t even look for that today.

In this week’s Sunday paper I got a 40 cents off 1 for Fiber One bars that WILL double, making them 70 cents a box!

Also in that was a 60 cents off 2 jars of Prego that will also double, making the total 80 cents each or 2 for $1.60.

I’ll be using those today in addition to some that you provided above. Thank you for taking the time do to these every week!

I had a nice conversation with John the new store manager (well not so new, but not to be confused with the previous manager) today. He was commenting on how Harris Teeter seemed to have beaten them on better deals this week. And I said that most of were commenting on that Farm Fresh deals were just OK as of late and he confirmed that corporate was aware that they had dropped off on a lot of the “coupon deals.” He seem to feel that, that was going to change or “do” better in the near future. So here’s hoping.

I noticed FF was very slow today. I only used 10 coupons yesterday. I considered not going in but more free pasta was calling my name & they had baby carrots on sale. I think LuLu may start to turn organge 🙂

I hope they change up & add more coupon deals! As long as they don’t lengthen the add with a 2nd sale insert LOL

That was how the conversation got started. I told him I was there for a very specific few items. But as of late I had no need to shop Farm Fresh and since Harris Teeter was closer I would rather go there for the basics since the good sale prices had dropped off the radar. I said the only reason I shop here was due to the fantastic Wednesday deals and at this rate I would go back to shopping the commissary and even though they do not double I would fair much better there not to mention that they have tons of coupons in the store for items that are priced lower to begin with then my local stores. So when the big stores double that’s when they competitive enough in pricing for me to shop the big stores. So I gathered they (managers and corporate) had realized traffic over all the last few months had dropped on Wed.

That is a great point about competing with the commissary! We are a huge military area, so getting people out of the commissary takes great deals at other stores. Then you tend to buy your extras wherever you’re finding the good deals if their at a reasonable price.

You’re right-it was very quite yesterday at FF. I only got a few things like progresso soup (madi’s preschool does ABC canned donations so this 50 cent quality soup is awesome), the fruit snacks (1.25 a box and it gave me $1 back for next time), some 47 cent gum, the paper towels (4.99 a pack but I was almost out), log cabin syrup for 99 cents, the no yolks for 50 cents, eggos for 67 cents and the baby carrots and some other produce.

My kids are banished from fruit snacks. I stocked up months ago & couldn’t figure out where all the fruit snacks & fruit roll ups were going. Lifted up the futon in the playroom & found approx. 6 boxes worth of wrappers!

      Haven’t bought any since

they were up high in the cabinet too!
