We went to Farm Fresh last night and did pretty good, saving 70% but it should have been more than that. We had the 95c Pillsbury coupons and at first the cashier did not even attempt to ring them up, she just set them aside. When she was done with all the rest of the coupons, I asked her about them and she said they won't ring up coupons for free items. I was like, It's not free, it's 95c off! I don't know if she didn't look at it or what the deal was. So then she rang it up and it just doubled to $1.50 even though the items were $2.50 each. We were tired and hungry and decided not to stand in the customer service line so we lost $2 on that. So we spent over $30 before coupons and almost $12 after and were able to get some more "luxury" items that usually I wouldn't afford, which was nice.
I'm sorry you had trouble getting the $0.95 Pillsbury coupon to triple correctly! I'm glad you 2 were able to get some items that aren't normally in the budget. It's nice to be able to have those extras once in awhile.
