My Farm Fresh & CVS Trips (04/06)

The kids are out of school today, so I’m just going to put up my picture and totals.  We’re heading out the park; the kids need to run off some energy.

I was of kilter today at Farm Fresh.  It’s been awhile since I’ve had to take both kids to the store.  If any other coupon shoppers had been in the line behind me, they would have shaking their heads.  Luckily the cashier sees me every week 🙂

All the CAT’s printed and my trip went off just as planned.  I bought a bunch of Catalina offers plus used 1 free milk coupon from last week, a free product coupon for the Egg Beaters and $1/1 Minute Maid printables from awhile ago.  Love free OJ!

They had MORE peelies on the Mission chips.  You know I couldn’t say no!  Monkey said, “Mommm, don’t you think we have enough of those already?  I think you need to stop shopping!”  He, he

In 2 transactions
Total Paid $17.70
Total Saved $57.35
Did you see the $6.03 chicken, 2 sausages and detergents!

Luckily CVS still had everything I wanted on Tuesday.  I spent a lot OOP, but got back a bunch of ECB’s.  Not too bad since I only had $5 ECB’s to roll from a month ago.  I did the P&G deal and used the $5 off $40 coupon

In 2 transactions:
Total Paid: $21.59
Total Saved $49.45
Have $22.99 in ECB’s to spend next week!

My only other shopping this week will be back to FF to use another Free milk coupon and to get grapes for $0.99lb (we need to finish some of our other fresh fruit first)

How did you do?

I noticed you did two transations at Farm Fresh. Is that because of the catalina deals? The add says unlimited catalinas, but I’m curious if I bought two of the same items if I’d get two catalinas. I figure I’ll just ask the checker, but I hate to do two transations if I don’t have to. =)

No, I didn’t split the items for the getting multiple Catalinas. Those items were all paid for together and I was handed a stack of CAT’s. Yeah! It says unlimited, so you should be able to get multiple per transaction withing the coupon limits.

Grey’s had way tooooooo much singing in that episode. That should be left with Glee…I hope they don’t do that again.
    Have a Blessed day!

I definitely had a great day at Farm Fresh–what deals! What is the mission deal again? How much do they come out to? I’ve been buying the store brand tortilla chips when on sale for $1 and using my military to get them for 90 cents. Thanks for the match up’s this morning! I haven’t been this excited about Farm Fresh in a long time and to have the order work perfectly? That made me extra happy 🙂

Ha, I’m glad your trip worked out! The Mission chips are $0.79 after the coupon on Wed. Not much better than your getting after the discount. I’m a sucker for chips and salsa, so I can’t turn them down.

    My trip is here: http://thewoodelves.blogspot.com/2011/04/grocery-deals-46.html
Pretty small. The Military Highway FF was out of the Tyson strips. I just don’t need much these days.

Thanks again for the matchups and printable list feature. I’ve been in and out of the ER since the early morning hours (but DH is much better and back home now,) so I did not have much time to run errands. Would have loved to skip it completely…but that “genius” pantry/freezer clean out idea last month left us on E food wise.

Spent $40, saved 60% and got $5 oyn. 14 packages of meat, 4 gallons of milk, OJ, eggs, cereal, etc. Lots of good and much needed items. Now it’s time to finally relax!

I hope he’s feeling better!!! I think that’s the way things work for me too. I do a cleanout expecting to be able to replenish the freezer, then the unexpected happens. You did great with all the staples: meat, milk, eggs!

So glad you’re liking the printable list, I guess it was a good investment for me
