Also, you can get 2 VIP tickets if you’re one of the first 50 people to donate 100lbs of food to each food bank. (Pastas work great for this). On Friday, we were the third one to donate and they are only open from Monday-Friday 8am-3pm.
Extreme Makeover – Move That Bus Event
Our Foodbank has limited VIP tickets to the “Move That Bus” event on February 5th (exact time to be announced). We will share two tickets, on a first come first served basis, to a single organization, business or individual that brings at least 100 pounds of non-perishable food to the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia. Hours of drop off are Monday – Friday 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Tickets are limited – so please respond right away! Thank you for your donation.

Oh, I meant first 50 people to either the Southeastern Virginia food bank or the Virginia Peninsula one. I cannot find any info from the Food Bank of the Albemarle
Also, the first 50 people to bring at least 100 lbs of non-perishable food to the Foodbank will win two tickets each to the finale of the Extreme Makeover and get to see the completed house on Saturday, February 5th! So start collecting ASAP! Just remember, you can only win tickets if you drop off your food at the Foodbank (9912 Hosier Street, Newport News, VA, 23601) to be weighed and counted!
