I am so glad you mentioned that you aimed for saving 50% savings. I was just wondering about what to use to gauge how well I was doing. The 50% sounds great and gives me a savings goal for couponing. Of course, I understand we all would love more than 50% also. 😉

I try to be realistic when it comes to my grocery shopping. I have to buy meat, bread, milk, veggies, etc. and that usually balances out my really good deals. I aim for about $60/week and I spend $15/week at other places (bread thrift, mid-week grocery runs, etc.) This puts my budget at about $300.00/month – not bad for feeding my family!
