My only shopping trip so far this week was to CVS and it’s actually a rather embarrassing first post. My OOP would have been substantially less, but I made a HUGE mistake. I mailed $11 in ECB’s to Aveeno with my mail-in rebate last week! We all make mistakes, and I can guarantee I’ll never do that again! I don’t think I’ve ever spent this much at CVS. I really like Neutrogena Sun Screen and I have a mail-in rebate form, so I spent more OOP to get what I wanted instead of waiting for a better deal to build my ECB’s back up. I’ll use the school supplies for donations that were requested today from LuLu’s Vacation Bible School.

That’s just how my brain works. I may have thought differently if my grocery budget was running low.

Don’t judge me with all the ice cream in the picture. I just couldn’t say no and we have plenty of money in the grocery budget. One flavor of lil’ drums rang up wrong so I ended up with 2 free and 1 at the difference (purchased 3 in 2 transactions).
