I have lots of shopping trips to post.

Harris Teeter Triples – boy was I excited.  My coupons were ready last night, got up nice and early to do the Farm Fresh ad.  Get to Harris Teeter and the freebies are GONE 🙁

My first trip looks like a 2nd or 3rd trip.  If anyone knows how to prepare Tofu – please let me know!  This is the first time I’ve ever purchased it.

2 Tofu FREE
2 Tetley Tea FREE (whoot)
1 Mahatma rice $0.05
Krunchers Chips $0.25
3 Campbells Soup $0.60
2 BC Cake Mix/2 BC Frosting $0.82
Dial Soap $0.84
2 Smuckers Squeeze $0.35 and FREE
Chock Coffee $1.74
2 Smart Balance milk $3.48
2 Land o Lakes creamer  $1.88
1 International Delight creamer $0.22
4 Yoplait Greek $1

Total Paid $11.86
Total Saved $49.46

I picked up a few things at Farm Fresh:

2 Minute Maid Juice Box $1.98
3 Pop Tarts $3
Grapes $2.43
Asparagus $1.77
Baby Carrots $1.79

Total Paid $11.30
Total Saved $3

CVS was fantastic this week.  I can’t even remember the last time I shopped at CVS.  I had a $5 off $25 purchase coupon emailed to me and $5 ECB’s that I earned from taking a survey.  I changed my trip up when I got to the store, so I made a math error.   I also had 2 awesome coupons print at the magic coupon machine.  Overall, I was tickled with my trip.

Transaction 1
2 Air Wick iMotion
1 Air Wick Freshomatic
1 Soft Soap
1 Finish detergent
1 Dove bar (my oops)
Newspaper $2
– (3) $4/1 Airwick coupons
– $0.75 finish coupon
– $0.75 softsoap coupon
-$3 ECB – print from machine
-$5/$25 CVS coupon
– $5 ECB’s for taking survey

Total Paid $1.33
Total Saved $47.50
Earned $13 ECB’s ($1 from green bag)

Transaction 2
Ritz Crackerful
CVS Allergy
Rephresh
Bengay
gum
-$2.50 Ritz – printed from kiosk
-$5 bengay coupon
-$1 Rephresh coupon
-$10 ECB’s from transaction 1

Total Paid $1.57
Total Saved $22.79
Earned $10.48 ECB’s

Went in store with a few manufacture coupons, $5 ECB’s and a CVS coupon and left with $13.48 in ECB’s and only $2.90 OOP – with a mistake.

How did you do?

Official CVS Coupon Policy

by Dana Zeliff on September 9, 20112011-09-09

It’s finally happened – CVS has issued an official Coupon Policy!  I would highly suggest printing the CVS Coupon Policy and carrying it  with you to the store.  This will help avoid any coupon policy issues you may encounter.

The policy is pretty standard but I wanted to point out a few line items to you:

  • The coupon amount will be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied. (For example, a $5.00 coupon for a $4.99 item will result in a $4.99 coupon value).
  • CVS/pharmacy accepts multiple identical coupons for multiple qualifying items as long as there is sufficient stock to satisfy other customers, unless a limit is specified. Management reserves the right to limit the quantity of items purchased.
  • CVS/pharmacy reserves the right to process coupons in any order.

Thanks, The Prudent Patron!
