Total Saved in Coupons/RR: $26.00
Submitting Mail-in-Rebate: $8.99
Still have 2 $3 RR to use
Like spending: $5.60
*Note: Huggies and Kotex are both Kimberly-Clark products so the RR wouldn’t work (ie tried to use $3 RR from Huggies on Kotex)

1 Goldfish: $0.88 (no coupon)

Factoring in sale prices the receipt says I saved $75.08
Total should have been $15.31
**This is a classic, KNOW YOUR STORES COUPON POLICY !!  I haven’t shopped at Kroger in forever. I went on the assumption that there wasn’t a coupon limit since the ad said “Double coupons everyday unlimited.”  I know I should have asked but with 2 kids I was in a hurry.  There is a limit of 4 Like coupons per transaction!  The total # of coupons is unlimited.  The cashier allowed me to use 5 of the 7 Kraft coupons so I missed out on $2.  I would have done the deal differently had a known ahead of time.
Farm Fresh
4 Boxes Cheerios: $1.98 each-$1/1 printable=FREE (2 transactions)
2 Double Stuff Oreas: $3.39 each-Free facebook coupon=FREE
1 Smart Taste Pasta: $1.49-$0.75/1 from insert=FREE
1 Ritz Crackerful: $2.99-$1/1 from insert=$0.99
2 All Detergents:$ 3.49 each-$1/1 printable X2=$2.98
2 Breakstone Sourcream: $0.99 each-$0.55/1 printable X2=FREE
2 Kraft Singles: $2 each-$1/2 in-ad coupon=$2
1 Uncrustables: $2.99-$1/1 printable=$0.99
1 Stacey Pita Chips: $3.50-Free mailer=FREE
1/2lb Creta Farm Ham: $2.59-$1/1 insert=$0.59
Total Spent: $8.29
Total Saved: $33.67
I’m happy with that savings 🙂

My FF & HT Purchases 01/27 & 01/28

by Dana Zeliff on January 29, 20102010-01-29
in Farm Fresh Weekly Ads, Harris Teeter Weekly Ad, My Shopping Trip

Disclosure: This post may contain an affiliate link.

I was in such as rush to put everything away (it’s a crazy week around here) I didn’t take pictures. PLUS, I’d pulled my HT coupons out of the binder and thought I’d put them in my purse (quickie trip since I was babysitting and had two little girls to run around) only to get in the store and not be able to find them!

At Harris Teeter I bought 2 HT whole chickens (0.49lb) and 2 HT lg eggs (0.99 each). Total before VIC discount $14.36, total after $5.99 plus tax-bought creamer so I’m omitting that. I tend to be a Perdue snob so we’ll see about the chicken.

At Farm Fresh I also had other items for Freezer Cooking Day (such as pinto beans) and a Pampered Chef party I’m having tomorrow, so I’m just going to list my sale items. Unlike our regular food I paid FULL price for almost everything for the party since I planned the menu around what other people would expect, I learned my lesson! I would normally do separate transactions but it’s just been a crazy week.

Quaker Instant Oatmeal ($1.89), used $1/1=FREE
2 Aunt Jemima Pancake Mix ($1.89 each), used $1/2=$1.78
2 Quaker Granola Bars ($1.89 each), used 2 $0.55/1=$1.58
2 Skippy Peanut Butter (2/$3), used $1/2 in ad coupon=$1
2 Tubs I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter ($1.99 each), used 2 $1/1=FREE
2 Pk Sticks I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter ($1.99 each), used 2 $1/1=FREE
1/2 lb Creta Farm Roast Beef ($3.89), used $1/ 1/2lb=$1.89
Red Grapes ($0.98lb), prices lately around $2.99lb =$2.28
Beef Roast ($1.98lb), =$7.94 for Freezer Cooking Day

Paid $16.47 for sale items to include beef and grapes
Saved $18.09 in coupons
