When I was looking at the shrimp online, it looks like the $11.99 price is for a 1/2 pound of shrimp, not 2 pounds. I am heading that way in a few, so I will double check, but I think each bag is (according to the website) $23.98, which would make the deal come out to $9.60 per 2 lb bag. Still a good deal, just not as good.

Same with me, no list at all on IE. I switched from Firefox back to IE because when I try to print coupons on Firefox, it will not print and when I try to print a smartsource coupon, my laptop becomes possessed and opens dozens of new tabs until I shut it down!!

            Hi Lyn,

You don’t see the option to check the boxes to print your list in IE? Is this only with Harris Teeter or all lists? And everything works fine with the list in Firefox?

Yes, smartsource can be difficult to print sometimes. It used to do that to my computer too.

A few questions… It says on the HT website that they will only accept ONE MC per product, so how are you stacking? Also, I do not have a Garnier Fructis eVIC coupon, so I was wondering if this was a “special” deal to receive it? I am still stoked about Super Doubles, but it appears I will NOT be getting all the deals I was hoping for! Thanks

You can stack a manufacturer coupon you have with an e-Vic coupon. Some e-Vic coupons are limited to a certain amount and once those have been claimed by someone adding it to their e-Vic card you can’t get it. Hope this helps.

Just FYI, the Arm & Hammer is B1G1 @ $8.99 for a 62.5oz bottle at my HT. I did not see any 61.2oz bottles for $6.99. There were some cheaper priced bottles but they weren’t B1G1. Also, there is a manufacturer coupon for Kraft Mac & Cheese that makes it free (don’t recall from what insert) and also the Oreo’s are on sale for $2.50. If you’ve held on to your printable for $1.00/1 with purchase of milk, it makes them only $0.50! The organic milk is on sale this week, too, so I felt I got a good deal!

I just tried to shop off your “Unadvertised sales Tuesday after 2 pm EST” (June 24) at Harris Teeter and nothing rang up on sale and my coupons would not double. One of the cashiers there told me that they Harris Teeter has no “unadvertised sales” and super doubles do not start until 7 am on Wednesday morning, just like their regular advertisements. This is my first super doubles, so I’m confused as to why The Coupon Challenge advertises an unadvertised sale if there isn’t one. If there is one, do only certain stores participate? And how do I find out which ones so I don’t waste my time? I don’t understand what went wrong with this shopping trip, but I’m irritated. Please help!

Amanda, The Coupon Challenge will do updates before a Super Double event to keep us shoppers aware of as many deals as possible, and it seems they UPDATED THE LIST on Tuesday after 2pm with unadvertised sales items….from reading your post, I think you thought there were unadvertised sales items in the store available Tuesday after 2pm? Harris Teeter’s sales cycle (whether Super Double or not) always runs Wed to Thurs (as do most grocery stores), so the Super Double event didn’t start until the 25th. One tab above has it listed correctly, the other tab has that it starts on the 24th….just a typo I’m guessing. I can see why it confused you, especially being your first time shopping Super Doubles. You should be able to get some good deals until July 1st, though! Hope this helps a little!

Thank you for helping clarify that for Amanda Tracy!

Yes, sales start each week on Wednesday. Make sure to check the dates on the top of the post or the tab to view the correct weeks matchups. I post matchups in advance to help you prepare for your shopping trips. On the Tuesday before the sale starts, I add the unadvertised deals to the sale ad matchups for sales starting Wednesday. Harris Teeter has additional sales displayed on tags throughout the store that aren’t in the weekly sale flyer. These are unadvertised because you would only know about the sales if you walked through the store or read a blog such as The Coupon Challenge.

I just wanted to let everyone know about my terrible experience in the Morehead City Harris Teeter today.
We live about an hour and fifteen minutes from our Harris Teeter.
We live in a very rural area.
I usually ship for my parents when I do my grocery shopping. They usually on a big trip once a month and then I pickup whatever they need in between.
Today, I went in HT as usually with my list and my mom’s list.
I put all her stuff in 2 of those reusable HT green bags. My mom’s order was normal stuff. The only thing in her that was on sale was the B2G3 chicken breast. She only wanted 5 (not the 10 allowed) I got none. Except for orange juice and mushrooms, our orders we nothing alike. She had no coupons whatsoever. I had the 20 allowed for my order. I could have toss everything in the cart together and checked out without any problems but I didn’t want to have to try and figure out how much my mom’s groceries were when I got to her house.
So when I got to checkout, I explained to the cashier that I needed to pay for her order separate. She informed me that this was not allowed. I pointed out to her that we didn’t have anything that was over the limit combined and her order had no coupons and mine only had 20. Since “NO” not allowed. So I asked for a manager and explained it all again. “NO” not allowed. She finally said I could pay for my mom’s and take it out to vehicle then come back in a checkout my stuff. I said “NO WAY”. So I asked for a bigger manager and after explaining it all to him again, he finally gave in. But it’s not allowed next time.
Anyone else have these problems or is it just me. My parents are old. I’m in my 50″s so my parents can’t be young.
You would have thought the way they all acted, that I was doing something wrong.
Is HT against old people that can’t get around very well????

I’m sorry you had such a bad experience. I would contact corporate. Since we weren’t trying to go over the coupon rules, they should have let you split the transactions. I know they try hard to crack down on people separating transactions to go against coupon rules, but you should have been able to split to purchased your parents food.
