My Farm Fresh Shopping Trip 02/01

I’ve only been to Farm Fresh so far today, but plan to make a Harris Teeter run at some point this week.  I bought a few things for lunches and I spent a bit more on the promo by purchasing the Brisk Tea, but I’m happy with my savings overall.

A few notes:

  1. The Pretzel M&M’s are included in the sale.  Just make sure you don’t get the bag that say’s “10% more free.”  Even though it’s within the size restrictions, it is not part of the Instant Savings Promo.
  2. The Orville Redenbacher Popcorn Promo is with an in-store coupon.  Look near the registers or front of the store.
  3. Look for a MAIL-IN-REBATE for the DiGiorno Pizzas.  You may find it in the beer section, at CS or with the pizza.  Buy 2 Digiorno’s, get $8 back.  That makes the pizza FREE after coupon and MIR!

Total Paid: $33.47
Total Saved: $44.86

I’ll submit for my $8 DiGiorno rebate, so “like” I paid $25.47

On my way to Farm Fresh this afternoon, I think… I’m rebuilding my cabinet stores, so this is in addition to my trip to HT last night (spent $49, saved $51) and I’m hoping to keep it around $20. One question tho: if an item is priced 10/$10, will they ring up $1ea if I only get 4?

Yes, the 10/$10 ring up as $1 each, no need to purchase 10 such as with the Gatorade sale.

You did a little better than me. My Farm Fresh seemed to be out of half the stuff in the ad so I had to get more than I wanted of rotel and didn’t find any of the taco seasoning. However, that just seems to be par for this Farm Fresh.

The Mt. Pleasant Farm Fresh seemed well stocked for the promo. To my knowledge, they were only out of the taco seasoning

So does that mean that we can buy just 2 popcorns and still use the man. coupon? Or just one or the other?

It took me a while to get my list and coupons together today. Longer than usual, but worth it. I bought 4 pepsi 2Ls, 4 ragu sauces, 4 frosted flakes, 2 apple jacks, 1 bag m&ms, 2 lipton soup boxes, 2 helmans mayo, 6 cans campbels chunky, 2 vlasic pickles, 1 bag tyson strips, 2 heads lettuce, 1 bag baby carrots, 1 box whu nu, 4 soft soap, spent 29.55 before tax, saved 52%

I can’t find the Ragu coupon in the 1/29 RP. Did our Redplum not have it in Virginia Beach?

The Ragu coupon was in the 2nd RP insert. I didn’t get that coupon but people that receive the Daily Press did
