I know this isn’t a great deal but I had to post it because my wonderful husband is so proud of himself.
He ran up to 7 Eleven and saw the 2 Liters of soda were $1 off when you buy 2. Regular price is 2/$3, so he picked up two 2 Liters of Dr. Pepper for me (my favorite) for $1 each. The point is he was trying to be thoughtful and get me Dr. Pepper that I won’t usually buy and save money at the same time. It’s the little things in life that you need to take a minute and appreciate.

That's so sweet! We live in DC and my hubby rides the metro to work. He came home with a cast off insert the other day that he found on a seat. Be still my heart!!!!!!!

Oh my goodness! My 11 yr old daughter went to 7-11 with my husband and did the same thing the other night! She ran in the door and was soooo proud of herself! Look Mama…I used a coupon IN THE 7-11 (yes, she was shouting!) She is a great couponer! She can sniff them a mile away in the grocery store (Food Lion has the best blinkies because they start with a 5) We go "blinkie" shopping there and then use them elsewhere!!!!
That is so great! You must be as proud of her as she is of herself. Mine try to help but we have a long way to go. I've heard about blinkie shopping at Food Lion. One day I'll have to take the kids on an outing. Their favorite thing to to get the blinkies.
