Thrifty Thursday: Free ebooks for Kindle, Nook and iPad

It seems that everyone has a Kindle, Nook, iPad or other tablet.  Well, everyone except me.

Many people purchase a tablet for the convenience of reading a good book.  It’s portable, light weight and can store multiple books all at the same time.

The problem is that books are expensive.  Even digital copies are pricey!

Did you know you can download FREE ebooks?

Amazon offers select ebooks for free that you can download straight to your Kindle.  It gets even better. You can also read Kindle ebooks on your computer, iphone, Android, Blackberry, and more!  I try to post a new free ebook for you almost daily, so you can read for less.

If you have a Nook, Barnes and Noble offers similar ebooks for free. It’s really that easy!

Don’t forget that you can get free library book loans on your Nook, Kindle & iPad with a valid library card.

I use the Kindle program on my smartphone. I download free books all the time and read them while waiting for appointments or to pick up my kids. The good thing about this is that I don’t have to carry around another gadget! I always have my phone, therefore I always have a book to read.

It’s a great way to read book on the go without another device to keep track of
