Welcome to Tuesday’s Trips Blog Hop hosted by The Coupon Challenge and Mom on Dealz! The purpose of Tuesday’s Trips is to showcase any type of great shopping trip you’ve had this week. Share grocery store, drug store, department store, yard sale, etc. If you’re excited about your shopping trip, we’d like you to share it with us! Did your trip completely bomb this week? Let us know what went wrong.

We do ask that you visit both of your lovely hostesses (#1 and #2 spots) each week to see what we’ve picked up. Don’t have a blog? No problem. Leave a comment about your shopping trip.

I decided to post about my Sam’s Club trip this week.  I was fortunate enough to be provided with a $25 Sam’s Club gift card courtesy of Sam’s Club and General Mills through My Blog Spark.  My plan was to only spend the $25, but I decided to pick up another package of pork tenderloin (will provide 4 meals).  I also needed more oats and chocolate chips to make granola bars.  I wanted to purchase General Mills products for the Box Tops Promotion, but I just bought 14 boxes of bars at Farm Fresh this week.  This is what I did:

2 lbs Yeast $4.38
4 lb Salt $0.98
72 oz Chocolate Chips $8.76 (splurge)
25 lbs Bread Flour $6.59 (I spent $2.99 on 5 lbs at Kroger, $8.36 savings!!)
Organic Spring Mix $3.98
2 Milks $2.58 (not shown)
9 lbs Quaker Oats $6.98
Pork Tenderloin $16.14

Total: $54.29
   less $25 GC
Total Paid OOP $29.29

Wow! Great job! Are granola bars hard to make?

I just saw your link to the granola bars. They look awesome. I am going to try those.

They were surprisingly easy to make and delicious! I'm looking for a recipe that doesn't call for so much honey. Bit pricey. If I don't find a good one, I'll order the honey using Swag Bucks.

I have never been to Sam's club.
