Harris Teeter

See my Harris Teeter matchups HERE

I was a little bummed this morning.  I got to the store around 11am and a lot of stuff was gone.  I wanted the  milk, Ortega taco seasoning and land o lakes butter-GONE.  I’m still happy with what I came home with.  I’ll make another trip tomorrow and that will probably be it for me.

1 Warm Delights=$0.15
2 Mahatma Rice=$0.19 each
2 Coffee Mate Creamer=FREE
2 French’s Mustard=FREE only 2 left so I took 2 instead of 3 🙂
1 Lawry’s Garlic salt=$0.15
2 Ortega Sauce=$0.75
Ortega Refried Beans=FREE
Mentos Gum=FREE
2 Hot Pocket side Shots $2.45 each- $0.75/1 from 01/31 RP insert=$0.20 each
2 Starbucks Coffee=$0.25 each
3 Green Giant Steamers=$0.09 each

Final: $0.42
Saved: $54.59

Obviously something is wrong here. I’m guessing some of the coupons tripled completely instead of only taking up to the value of the product. I should have spent $2.60 plus tax.  I feel like I should take my receipt up there and tell them tomorrow.

Farm Fresh

See my Farm Fresh matchups HERE

I ran out of cat food, so I spent $2.79 for the bag!  I usually pay under $2, but I wasn’t paying attention until I went to grab another bag and there wasn’t one.  Opps!

*Transaction 2 needed a cheap “filler” because you must have a before tax total greater than the RR amount.  The Skimtimate is priced at $2.99, but I had a $3 RR.  I would have purchased a $0.19 clearance pencil but “LuLu” really wanted the pops.  I could have walked away for about $1 total OOP!
My mom wanted the gloves, so she’ll be giving me $1 to add back to the grocery fund.

My CVS Trip

by Dana Zeliff on April 3, 20102010-04-03
in CVS, My Shopping Trip

Disclosure: This post may contain an affiliate link.

This is not a post about my great deal (low OOP) this week at CVS. I didn’t walk in and spend $0.25 for the items pictured, but it was still a GREAT deal!

See my matchups HERE, prices good through today.

I wanted the Oral B toothbrushes but they were out, so I picked up 2 or the last 4 Huggies diapers.

Here’s the GREAT part…
ALWAYS scan your Extra Care Card when you walk into the store! A $1/1 CVS shampoo/conditioner product coupon printed out for me. The price for the conditioner above is $0.99 making it FREE after coupon!

I needed to fill a prescription, so I used the FREE $25 gift card when you fill a new or transferred prescription coupon that printed out for me approximately 4 weeks ago. This is really FREE because insurance pays for the script!

I also picked up my 50 FREE prints mentioned HERE!

Here’s the breakdown:
2 Huggies Diapers @ $8.99 each
1 CVS Conditioner @ $0.99
50 FREE prints $0
Use 2 $3/1 Huggies Diapers from HERE and HERE
Use $1/1 CVS Shampoo Product coupon
Used $4 ECB’s
Final: $8.67 OOP
Saved $18 with CVS Savings, Coupons and ECB
Earned $5 ECB for Diapers and $1 ECB for Green Bag Tag (hit 4th visit)
I now have $11 worth of ECB’s to use after just four weeks and many purchases!
My plan was for this to come out of the gift fund because I don’t need diapers any longer! Wahoo!
However, I have the $25 gift card.  Imagine the possiblities-$16.33 remaining of FREE CVS money!
