Get ready for Tax FREE School Supply shopping! My area (VA) will have a tax free weekend August 1-3 this year.  During this time, most areas allow you to purchase certain school supplies, clothing and footwear priced $100 or less without paying tax.

This can be a great weekend to shop for school clothes – don’t forget about coupons!   I personally get my school supplies super cheap throughout the summer by taking advantage of weekly sales.  BUT we will see some good school supply deals this weekend such as penny notebooks at Office Depot through the 2nd.
