Farm Fresh Deals 02/02-02/08

Sorry for the delay, my internet was going in and out this morning.  Why on a Wednesday?  The matchups look a bit odd since part of them were done in a word doc using my phone.  Fun morning, really J

The back of the main ad & back page of insert there are lots of manufacture in-ad coupons.  These all start with a “9” won’t double and can’t be combined with other manufacturer coupons.  There are Store in-ad coupons on the extra insert that I have listed in the matchups that CAN be combined.

Let me know if you find other deals or have corrections!

Propel Fitness water is $5/5; I had peelies that were $1/2 (found them a few weeks ago and found another on a bottle today in the store), which meant I got 6 bottles for free! Also, French’s mustard in my store was $1.69; I had a $0.75/1 coupon for any variety that made the Spicy Brown (my favorite) $0.19. Finally, Ronzoni Garden Delight pasta was $1.69 (or $1.79); I had a $1/1 that made it free. Great Farm Fresh run for me today!

Great trip! Thanks for sharing the extra deals!

I could have used free Propel for Derrick’s work too. I didn’t even pay attention in the pasta aisle today. Hopefully they’ll still be less than $2 next week

A few other deals I got that aren’t listed:
–6-packs of Snapple are $5; there was a $1/1 newspaper coupon recently so a 6-pack was $3 ($0.50/bottle is pretty good, IMO)
–my Tyson bagged chicken breast tenders were $4.99 (not $5.99), so with the $1/1 they ended up being $2.99
–I used a $0.75/1 Beechnut Biter Biscuits newspaper coupon to get a box of “baby cookies” for $1
–Zone bars are $1.25 and I had a $0.50/1 newspaper coupon so 1 bar was $0.25
–Turkey Hill ice cream is $3.50/each; I used a $1/1 mailer coupon to get a container for $1.50 (yea cheap ice cream!)

My Farm Fresh (Military Highway) told me tonight that they no longer accept internet coupons. HELP! I’ve been going to that one rather than the one closest to me because they accept my DND5 coupons. Is there anywhere I can get an updated/current corporate policy? This really throws a wrench in my life!

Here is the internet policy, I’m waiting in the full policy:’

Below, we have listed the Internet Acceptance coupon policy. If you would like a full copy of the policy, please let us know. We hope this helps.

Internet Coupons – Coupons printed directly from an Internet web site and presented for redemption with a qualifying purchase. We check Internet coupons closely, as they can often be fraudulent. The following conditions apply:
          * We DO NOT accept Internet coupons for free product offers which do not require a qualifying purchase (Buy one get on free is allowable)
          * We DO NOT accept Internet coupons with a redemption value greater than $5.00
          * We DO NOT accept Internet coupons that lack a UPC barcode
          * We DO NOT accept photocopied Internet coupons

          Additional Information:
          * Coupons are intended for one time use and cannot be used more than once
          * Coupon deductions may not exceed the amount of purchase
          * Some coupons will include verbiage restricting quantities or number of purchases per customer
          * Coupons should be checked for an expiration date
          * Rebate offers may often resemble coupons, but cannot be accepted as a discount toward the purchase. Consumers are expected to complete a rebate offer by submitting the requested information via mail
          * Consumers are responsible for sales tax on the discounted amounts in applicable markets

I’m horrible. I emailed, didn’t get a response & only ever remembered to call when I was trying to fall asleep at night (that’s how my brain works). Sorry!

I called and it is the corporate policy to accept printable coupons as long as they follow the coupon policy for printables. They should be accepting them, so a message has been sent to that store. Each store has discretion on how to enforce the corporate policies though. That is probably why some stores accept DND5 coupons.

I was provided with a different email address to request another copy of their coupon policy (unable to provide over the phone). I’ll post once I receive it.

        My advice:
Take the coupon policy with you next time you shop there, if they refuse to accept the printables, ask a manager to contact corporate.

The CVS flyer in last Sunday and this past Sunday’s paper both advertised the Dove Body Wash at $1.99 and a disclaimer that said “Coupon in Sunday’s paper.” Neither Sunday paper had the Dove coupon in it. I was only able to print it out from the Dove site but obviously was limited to only 2 prints so I couldn’t really take advantage of the sale. Do you know of any way to get the coupon?

Unfortunately coupons vary by region. I really wanted the coupon too. You could order it from a site such as CouponClippers. If you ordered this morning you should get it by Sat. Check the shipping dates to confirm though.

If you have family in other states you could ask them if they received it.

I went to Farm Fresh twice yesterday – both times gladly without the kids and managed to get some great deals! Free Activia, Pringles for $.69, Free Campbells Chunky soup, The cereal, I did manage to get for 50 cents, the oatmeal squares were sold out, but I also got Raisin Bran for 50 cents, and Cocoa Krispies for $.60. I messed up on the toothpaste, Colgate was $1.70 (should have been free), but they were out and someone stocked a different toothpaste on the shelf.
Here was what I noticed last night that really surprised me about Farm Fresh…
I saw employees CLEARING shelves – not stocking – clearing Gatorade and a few others. I also saw them repricing items, pulling stickers and canceling all coupons they had in the sale ad

Also, I noticed you didn’t have the French’s Worchestershire Sauce $1.69 or $1.79, $.75/1 coupon ends up being$.19 or $.29. Kikkoman Soy Sauce, and Franks Hot Sauce are all similar deals.

Clearing the shelves and repricing? Really? How strange. I hope they don’t make a habit of it. Thanks, I must have lost my Franks Hot Sauce between internet outages. I didn’t realize the Worcestershire was on sale though. I only have 1 left in my stockpile.

I thought it was odd myself, it wasn’t even late, (my 2nd trip) probably 6:00pm. Very strange, they all looked exhausted.
I also managed to get free hot dogs. Even not for Wednesday if you want some cheap hot dogs for the kids, Bar S Hot Dogs are $1.00 each and there is a $1.00/2 coupon for them. Not sure which ad because I noticed it as I flew by on Wednesday getting $1.50 Oscar Mayer lunch meat, but even at $.50 each its a pretty good deal for the kids.
I wish I knew about the hummus, I had the coupon with me, but forgot to look. Maybe next week! By the way, all of the Farm Fresh’s I go to take internet coupons, I hope the store on Military isn’t starting a trend. I usually go to Kempsville and Volvo, Cedar Rd. and Dominion, or Western Branch Blvd. Kempsville store shouldn’t be too far from you if you are going to Military.

I’m always on the prowl for cheap hotdogs too. Missed that one. Hoping the Hummus sale will continue next week too. I found my other coupons that were hiding.

Glad you’re stores are still allowing internet coupons! I have to call corporate Monday. Oddly they didn’t respond to my email.
