To get the “buy 4 Dannon multipack, get $4 off milk” deal, do I need to buy both the yogurt and milk in one purchase? Or is this a $4 off coupon that will print with my receipt? Thanks!

Yes, I just did it and the $4 came off instantly after milk was scanned.

you buy the items in the same transaction. I purchased shoppers value low fat milk for $3.64 and the $4 automatically comes off, so a little bit of a moneymaker too.

is the in-ad coupon supposed to double because I bought the
        lysol wipes 2.49 x 2 = 4.98
        -1 in-ad coupon
        -1/2 (6/12/11ss) doubled
=1.98 for both or .99 each

I went early this morning and tried to use the in-ad coupon for the lysol wipes along with the mfg coupon and the store clerk would not let me do it. I told her that I should be able to use a store coupon and a mfg coupon together, but she said that was double dipping and that I couldn’t do it. I really didn’t feel like fighting it, plus I had to get to work. Also, I did not have a copy of FF coupon policy with me. So do you think I should have been able to use both?

It’s a yymv (your mileage may vary) deal. Some stores allow it, others don’t. Mt. Pleasant does but the Battlefield location down the street doesn’t.

To Judy…. I was able to use the store and mfg coupons so I think it just depends on your cashier. Sorry they wouldn’t let you use both.

Yeah, I was at the Military Highway location. I’ll probably go to Ward’s Corner or OceanView (hate that one) later today. Thanks for all your help Dana! You’re the best!

I reader told me she loves the Ocean view location. Not sure if they have multiple out there or not.

LOL! To each their own, right? There’s only one in Ocean View. It is nicer now then it used to be since they remodeled…but it is still very cramped compared to Military and Ward’s Corner. Also, the manager at Ocean View gave me a hard time a few weeks ago about black & white printed coupons. The cashier told me they could not take B&W coupons. I asked her to show me that in the coupon policy. So the manager came out and showed me the coupon policy that states they can not accept copied coupons. I said, that is correct, and these coupons are not copies, they are printed legally on a b&w printer. He said if they are in b&w, then they can’t tell the difference. I said, well, they have color copiers too, so just because the coupon is printed in color does not mean it was not copied as well. I said the policy does not state that you don’t take B&W coupons, it only states no copies. He let me use my coupons 😉

Maybe it’s the difference in the time you 2 shop? Yeah, having to print in color is a bit ridiculous.

I was able to use the store coupons but those wipes did not come out to be free for me 🙁 I overpaid. ah well. I was too rushed to notice at the time. that’s my mistake-shouldn’t have tried to rush. but i was able to stack the lysol store and manu coupon and the scotts TP store and manu coupon. and since I did scotts paper towels, too, I got a $2 catalina thank you for next time 🙂 buy two scotts, get $2 back. awesome.

Denise, that is what happened to me. I was wondering why my total was $4 off 🙂 It’s because the wipes came out to be 99 cents each. ah well. I didn’t need them and paid 99 cents each when my target price is no more than 50 cents each. live and learn–I was rushed this AM and didn’t notice until it was too late. Thanks, Dana for all you do! You worked really hard this morning and last night and I can’t thank you enough! you enabled me to knock out HT super early this morning 🙂 You rock!

It was my fault, I should have put $0.49 each when you use 2 store coupons and (1) $1/2 coupon. My brain wasn’t working this morning

That was when they doubled the $1 on Wedn. maybe we’ll get lucky and they’ll give us an extension again.

You would break even when you pay $4 for the yogurts and save $4 on milk

Franklin FF had a peelie pad on a Nabisco cookie display for $1 off 1 package of Nabisco cookies and 1 gallon of milk. So my Oreos were 50 cents ($2.50 minus my $1 coupon doubled) and my milk was free b/c of the Danimal deal. 🙂

My FF said that the cereal deal buy 2 get gal. milk free. It was a misprint in the flyer. You actually have to buy 4 participating cereals to get the gal. of milk for free. Did anyone else run into this problem?

The yogurt was the best deal. Looks like cereal deal wasn’t as good since it was supposed to be buy 4 instead of buy 2

Thanks so much for your awesome blog! I refer to it every week as I am just getting started with the couponing thing. I just wanted to confirm that my Farm Fresh (Bridge Road in Suffolk) has the flyer up about there being a misprint in the ad. You have to purchase 4 boxes of cereal to get the gallon of milk free. Luckily, I went yesterday so I still was able to get a few free gallons!

    Thanks again 🙂
