My Farm Fresh Shopping Trip (01/19)

I went to Farm Fresh this morning to get a few of the good deals.  There aren’t as many freebies as past weeks, but I left happy.  I purchased 12 boxes of pasta to donate to the Extreme Food Drive and I scored FREE Thomas’ Bagel Thin with my Bzz Agent coupons.  Don’t worry, there were plenty of pastas on the shelf when I left…

I may have scared my cashier when I found out the Bagel Thin were on sale for $2 each.  I didn’t notice it in the ad and it wasn’t marked on the shelf.  I have 1 $4 off coupon, so I bought one.  When my coupon only took off $2 I was practically dancing in the line!  I had (4) $1/1 coupons to share with friends as part of the campaign.  I knew I would be able to pick them up cheap, so I held onto the coupons to give away the bagels when I found a good deal.  Well, I got 5 FREE packs of bagel thins today.  Can you tell I’m excited? 🙂

*My store finally had the Savings Essentials coupon booklet-I haven’t opened it yet, though

Were you able to use all 6 of the Ronzoni pasta coupon in 1 transaction?

Yes, because there were only 2 per type of pasta and each coupon said it was specific to the type. I think that is why it worked even though they were all Ronzoni brand.

the Thomas’s bagels were seperated into 2 transactions when I went back to pick those up after my first, main transaction

I can’t find the Green Giant frozen veggies on sale on the FF website. How did you find them?

They were marked 10/$10 at the Mt Pleasant store. I just happened to walk by and see it

I got the free pasta too! But I only snagged 2 of them. I also got the Gordon tilapa’s for .50 and creamer for .50 too! I had a few things on my list that I didn’t have coupons for but overall I did pretty good! I only spent $25.48 and saved $18.50 🙂

Well I have been desperately trying to figure out these linky things for 2 weeks now and I give up, sooo not internet savvy. I’d do a happy dance if I got all those bagels too, awesome deal!

The only deals I did that I didn’t see anyone else mention were the Buitoni pastas for .19 each after the coupons. Not free…but since I’m donating the others, I can use these (and I just LOVE that brand of pasta!) I also got in on that 4 pack of 9-lives sale each $1. Had a couple $1 off coupons for those and ended up paying only $1 oop for 20 cans. We are dog-only people…so that is another donation. And I did get those potatoes I missed out on last week and they also gave the military discount. They were out of the coupon books though. Oh…and green giant was not on sale at our store. Pretty good FF week though, thanks for the match ups!

I couldn’t find 9 lives coupons, guess I missed a good deal. $0.19 for your favorite pasta is good. I spend more on Uncle Bens rice-just perfer it for some reason.

Glad you were able to get the potatoes & use the military discount! That savings can add up! Guess I got lucky with the green giant being on sale at my store.

Just realized I didn’t address this, if you have a website or facebook page that you posted your purchase, click “click here to enter” then you will be taken to another page where you can added your link to website or fb page-just copy from your browser. You will also need to give it a title. Click “enter your link” and you’re done.

      Hope that helps

I see from the database one of my 9-lives coupons was from Nov. All You. I’m *thinking* the other came from the commissary coupon books. They have a handful of manu. q’s in each one. If I remember correctly, you have relatives that shop there? I also ended up with a peelie and a catalina for my purchase…wish there was a local coupon trading group! (or is there…?)

Better deal if I had cats 🙂 But the shelter can definitely use it, nice to be able to help others within my budget!

Had a great trip, the cashier I ended up with let me do both transactions…in the 15 or fewer line, I only used 5 reusable bags and he rang me up for 10 (promise I wasn’t flirting!) AND grand total just over just over 99.00 before coupons and 51.78 after! I had several non coupon (meat and bakery) items. I also spent a little extra on the Progresso soup since the one’s on sale weren’t the ones my family will eat.
I used your match ups which were quite a bit more accurate and expansive than others I saw. THANK YOU!

Ha, Ha! Getting the cashier to double your bag discount 🙂

You had a great trip! I have preferances on soup too. Hopefully they’ll have the varieties you like on sale next time.

I’m glad you’re benefiting from my matchups!
