My Farm Fresh Shopping Trip 02/08

What a great week to shop at Farm Fresh!  It’s been awhile since I had to actually prioritize my purchases.  I really wanted to use about 30 coupons this week 🙂

Please note that my Snackwells CAT didn’t print but was manually printed at customer service.

Sadly, all the Planters NUT-rition were sold out, so I’ll try back later in the week for that deal.

I had several $1/1 cereal coupons for the frosted cinnamon toast crunch and peanut butter cheerios to use.  They were marked as part of the sale at $2.50 each, so I paid separately to see if it would trigger the FREE Milk Promo.  Sadly, it didn’t print the CAT’s but I still paid just $2.20 for 4 boxes of cereal or $0.55 each!  I was pleased since free and $0.25 cereal isn’t a norm like it was a couple years ago.

Total Paid $2.20
Total Saved $8

My 2nd transaction used my remaining 16 coupons:
1 Bread $0.99
2 cinnamon toast crunch $2.80 (used old $0.50/1 & $0.60/1)
2 Kix $3 (used $1/2 printable)  plus FREE Milk CAT and $2 CAT
2 Cheez-it $3
2 Blue Diamond $1
2 Snackwells $2 plus $1 CAT
6 Uncle Bens Rice $8 (used $1/2 and $1/4) plus (3) $1 CAT’s
4 Palmolive $2 plus (2) $1 CAT’s
4 Ken’s dressing FREE
2 Mission Chips FREE (old printable)

Total Paid: $23.78
Total Saved: $29.20
Earned $8 in CAT’s plus a FREE Milk CAT

How was your shopping?

The Cat didn’t print on the Planters NUT-rition bars and customer service just gave me the $1 cash. I was not at my regular Farm Fresh so I’m not sure why exactly but the $1 Cat I got from the Kraft Mayo I used on another order but they didn’t double it, I didn’t notice until I got home or I would have asked about that, my hometown Farm Fresh doubles them too on Wed. so I was dissapointed. I did notice the milk Cat not printing on my Cheerios and mentioned it but it wasn’t on the ones I got (Peanut Butter and the cameral ones) but like you say $.50 cereal is good enough.

My snackwell cat didn’t print either. But my planters did. I was told their truck never came in for that one so i went to another FF for that. Great job! I didn’t get a whole lot this week but what I did I was happy with!

I got 1 Total, 1 Cinnamon Toast Crunch and 2 Frosted Toast Crunch and I got the $2 and the free milk catalinas…so maybe it was just the peanut butter cheerios? I was happy to get some good deals this week!

I got 1 Cinn Toast Crunch, 1 Frosted Toast Cunch, 1 Multi-Grain Cheerio, and 1 Dulce De Leche Cheerio and my cat DID NOT print. I went to customer service and they said it was the Dulce De Leche cheerios that were not included in the sale, but since the signage at the store kind of indicated that, the lady at CS gave me a free milk and $2 off catalina anyways. SO NICE!

The Ken’s dressing at my FF was not on sale? Maybe they just didn’t have the sale signs all up yet. Boo!

I did great on my trip though – spent $34.61, saved $31.30 (49%) and received coupons for a free gallon of milk and $5 worth of catalinas on my next trip!

Oh – another thing to add – the Johnsonville sausage and brats were on sale for $3.99 and I still had the $1 off coupon (internet printable) that I didn’t use last week. Double that and I got packs of brats for only $1.99!

I believe it was only the 14oz cheerios, 12.8 cinn toast crunch, 11.25 oz cookie crisp, 10.7oz trix, 8.7 kix and 10.6 total cereals that would give you the $2 cat and free milk. As stated in the ad, BUT FF has been a touch confusing in the past with such deals and I can see why–I saw the $2.50 signs on the frost cinn toast crunch and dulce de leche as well and wondered, but I played it safe and just got the two cheerios, a cinn toast and one kix.

I had a mini FF trip today. I bought 2 breakfast on the go’s, 3 cheerios, 1 ocean spray fruit snacks, 4 kens dressing, 2 keebler crackers, 2 welch’s juice, 1 duncan hines, saved 65%. I also didn’t get the milk 🙁 oh well. My second transaction was 2 bottles ken’s dressing & strawberries, used 2 $1 CAT, paid .50, savings of 90%! Still have $1 for next week.
I didn’t go to my usual store today, what was great was that they had all the sales signs up, what wasn’t was all the other couponers (it was only 10am and stuff was flying off the shelves), this store was easier to deal with at check out too. My usual store examines every coupon and won’t let you do multiple transactions back to back for same items. I think I will still stick to my usual FF.
