I wasn’t thinking clearly in Farm Fresh today, so I lost out on my Catalina for the Post Pebbles cereal.  Why I grabbed 2 pebbles and 2 other cereals is beyond me (shaking my head).  Also, they didn’t get the bag of oranges in so I’ll have to go back later in the week.

Milk $3.59
Grapefruit $1.29
4 Post cereal (2 not in pic) $4
2 Yoplait 4-pk $2
2 Yoplait Parfait $1
2 FF creamer $1.39 – $0.50/1 reduced peelies = $1.78
2 V8 smoothie FREE

Total Paid $14.14
Total Saved $14

After realizing my mistake on the cereal and Stacey’s comment about the Wholly Salsa ringing up $1.50 – I went back to the store.

2 Wholly Salsa $1.50 – $1/1 printable = FREE
1 Tortilla chips (since I now had salsa) = $1.79
5 Post Pebbles cereal = $6

Total Paid $7.11
Total Saved $8
Earned $4 CAT for cereal

Not a great saving but just over 50%.  How did you do?

I think it is great that you showed us your oops moment. Most of the times I have found that when bloggers mess up on shopping trips, they never post them. Even if I have a not so great trip, I still post it. No one is super human and we all make mistakes.

Mistakes happen and we can’t be on our game all the time. I’ve had to learn to let the little things go

Yes, definitely a decision to make with a long drive. I love Perdue whole chicken and this week is a great price – all week

    I did the $10/10 items.
I got 3 jars of Classico sauce, using the coupon from their website, making them free, along with 6 cans of Campbells Select Harvest, using the save $1/3, and 2 Pantene products, using the save $1/2.

After savings/coupons the total for all items was $8.10.

Did you have any trouble using the Post coupons? When I went they said they were Walmart coupons and would not accept them.

No problem at all. I specifically talked to my local manager. They are not accepting coupons that say “redeemable at…” even if it doesn’t say “redeemable ONLY at…”

They are accepting coupons that only have the logo with no wording specific to the store, if that makes sense. We had a little chat about it and she even showed other cashiers my coupon as an example of what they COULD accept.

      Sorry you had trouble!

yay for salsa! don’t worry, I made an opps, too, and only gave them one wholly coupon 😉 I didn’t even realize at first. I was at HT later to pick up the guac (at full price–ack–but we wanted it for dinner. (farm fresh, btw, only had spicy in stock. not my thing and it’s why I didn’t buy it there w/ the second coupon) . When I went into my binder to get other coupons to use at HT, I saw a wholly coupon. I sat there w/ a question mark on my face. Yep, I only handed one coupon to the FF cashier and yet bought two salsa’s. DOH ;p Ah well.

You KNOW I did the yogurts this week 😉
