My Harris Teeter & Farm Fresh Trips (04/27)

I need to finish cleaning my house, so this is going to be short.

I was going to do an almost free trip at Harris Teeter today, but decided to pick up ice cream for hubby.  I’m gonna ask him to reorganize my food closet, so I need to butter him up a bit first 🙂

They were all out of the Birds Eye veggies I wanted too.  So sad!

Everything was in the matchups except for $1.50/1 Lysol Wipes coupon that was available on fb awhile ago and I had an Uncle Ben’s store CAT coupon.

Total Paid $6.16
Total Saved $39.75

My main expenses were $1.29 for the ice cream and $3 for the taco kits

I did the P&G deal at Farm Fresh.  The promo was for after coupons.  Mine didn’t print, but they gave it to me anyways.

Everything is in the Farm Fresh matchups except I had a free product coupon for the salsa.  No coupon for the bread, melon and salad.

Total Paid $23.75
Total Saved $19.99
Earned $5 for next trip and 5 Redbox code
“Like” paying $13.75

Other than a stop by HT later for 2 more Salad Kits and birds eye (if restocked).  I’m done shopping

How did you do?

I did great at HT this morning, but still need to go back for quite a few things! I got $90 worth of groceries for $35. This included: 2lbs of beef stew meet, 2 1/2 gal smart bal milk, 2 silk milks, 5 boxes of Aunt Jemima waffles, 2 totino’s pizzas, 2 wonder bread, 2 avacados, the gortons fish sticks Meal Deal, 2 containers of hillshire lunchmeat, and a 20lb bag of dog food, etc.
I was disappointed that I went at 8:30am and a lot of things were already out of stock. The manager said, that there were a few women there at 4am ready to check out @7am with a bunch of cart loads. They had multiple vic cards, which she said is considered “abusing” the system. Hopefully when I go back they’ll be restocked.

You got a ton of goodies for $35! I’m considering buying the big bag of puppy chow, I won’t need to worry about dog food for a year LOL

I’m surpried they allowed multiple VIC cards. I hope my store restockes too. I got there at 9 and the veggies were almost wiped clean

I got $100 worth for $20.32 at HT!!! There were a few coupons in the matchup that I didn’t have (didn’t get in my region) and also I don’t have any SS inserts from 2/6 to 3/13 🙁 but overall I think I did pretty good today. I have a 20mos. old son that I brought with me, so I went first thing this morning at 7am thinking it would be super crowded and it wasn’t at all!! I was the only one with a binder 🙂 but as I was leaving I passed a couple of binder girls, and I found the Buitoni I was looking for, only to find it had been wiped out, so I’m assuming one of them had something to do with that! 😉 I got the Stouffers, two Haagen Dazs, the Birdseye veggies (these were about gone!), two of the Hungry Jack pancake mix and Syrup (those were about $4 a piece, so that made my OOP go up!), the Mueller’s pasta, two Classico sauces, Reach floss, Zataran’s rice, they didn’t have the Butterfinger Snackerz (which made me sad because they would’ve been free :(), Jimmy Dean Breakfast Bowl, Wheat Thin Stix, and some other things I can’t really think of right now! I’ll send in a picture with the details later on after I do my schoolwork!:) I missed FF for right now, may go up later this evening if I have any of the Qs!! Hope everyone else did great!!

That’s great! you had a cart full! I didn’t have all the coupons in the matchups either (or I had used them last month). I couldn’t find the snackerz either. It’s on the express lane, so they must be hiding them somewhere. I wasn’t expecting the veggies to clear out so quickly. It wasn’t like they were free.

Hope your son behaved for you 🙂

Mine were okay. Plans were to go child free as soon as DH was home from work in the am. Plans changed and I had little man in tow and didn’t get all the way out to HT until 8. Obviously the best deals are gone by that “late” hour, lol. No biggie, just annoyed the Buitoni was gone, because it is my favorite pasta.

And then just picked up a few things at FF. Love how they almost always have melons for 99c! Done shopping this week…except to pick up the little one’s birthday cake!!

Breana…my HT is very strict, which is good. They do not allow those multiple card holders at all. Last super doubles I saw an adult have a full blown toddler style tantrum because they weren’t allowed to use their “friends” 4 cards. Talked to the cashier about it and she said they try hard to weed those ones out. Hopefully all HT will crack down on it too!

I didn’t get out until 9 (after preschool drop off) so I feel your pain 🙂 Hopefully they will restock the pasta

My kids love it when I can get cheap melon too.

Happy Birthday to the little man!
