Personalized Crayon Case & Personalized Stickers from Personalization Mall Review

Personalization Mall offers hundreds of personalized products to suit your taste & budget.  I was provided with a Personalized Crayon Case & Personalized Stickers for LuLu to review.  I knew the Personalized Crayon Case would be perfect for my little artist.  One of LuLu’s favorite activities is coloring.  She can create masterpieces at 3 years old that simply astonish me (not that I’m saying she’s the next Picasso 🙂 ).  The Personalized Crayon Case comes with Crayola Crayons and is made from 100% cotton.  It is also machine washable which is important to me since something will inevitably be spilled on it.

Little girls will love the pink, striped case with polka dot ribbon while boys can express themselves with a bright red case wrapped in blue ribbon.  Your child’s first name will be embroidered across the ribbon to give it a personal touch.  The case folds out for easy access to your child’s favorite colors and rolls up securely for the artist on the go.

ImagiPlay Counting Octopi Puzzle Review

by Dana Zeliff on November 21, 20102010-11-21

My kids love puzzles!  It’s a quiet activity that allows the kids to relax and work out how the pieces fit together while also helping to promote fine-motor skills.  The kids, however, care nothing of this.  They just find puzzles fun.  They both enjoy the challenge and the satisfaction of seeing their hard-work complete.  The ColorMeUp Counting Octopi from ImagiPlay sparked both my kids interest.  You see, the ColorMeUp Counting Octopi is more than just a puzzle, it’s art!

This all natural 8pc 3D Counting Octopi puzzle offers numbers on one side arranged in evens and odds, and baby octopi on the other side.  It’s handcrafted from managed forest Basswood making it an eco-friendly product for your child.  The kids initially got their creative juices flowing by painting the ColorMeUp Counting Octopi.  It was difficult to get the paints on at first.  It seems more like colored wood stain than a traditional paint.   The kids were each allowed to paint part of the Octopi puzzle, although LuLu painted most of it.  They spent 2 days painting and admiring their handiwork.

Monkeyboy is 6, so he is proficiant with his numbers.  He was able to assist LuLu in putting the puzzle together.  She has enjoyed counting and fitting the numbers where they belong.  She now pulls the puzzle out every other day and spends time counting or painting.  My children have both enjoyed playing with their new puzzle, and I love that the ColorMeUp Octipi Puzzle is an educational  toy that teaches numbers and creativity.

Toms of Maine Wicked Fresh Toothpaste Review

Fight for your right for fresh breath!

Wicked Fresh!™ Long-lasting Fresh Breath Toothpaste uses powerful natural flavor oils and a patent-pending botanical extract to provide long-lasting fresh breath.

  • Contains fluoride
  • No artificial colors, flavors, fragrances or preservatives
  • Maximizes recycled content

I tried natural toothpaste for the first time ever! I was provided with Toms of Maine Wicked Fresh toothpaste to try in my home through Bzz Agent.  I was also provided with sample tubes to giveaway to friends and family.  I admit that I was a bit skeptical.  I made Derrick try it first.  He was very pleased with the results and said his mouth actually felt cleaner and fresher.

 Then it was my turn…

While brushing with Toms of Maine Wicked Fresh the toothpaste seemed to foam up which I found rather odd.  After a couple days I got used to it, but it’s still a weird feeling.  There is also an aftertaste that I’m not fond of.  It only lasts for about a minute, but it’s something that I find to be a turn off.  Derrick did’t think there was an aftertaste at all, so it could just be something with me.  It is definitely worth trying out and I’m still using it.

My mom was the first to get a sample tube.  She liked the taste and mentioned that it’s not gritty like some other natural toothpastes she has tried.   Getting a good review from my mommy is a must!

Overall, I was pleased with Toms of Maine Wicked Fresh toothpaste.  It does provide the user with fresh breath from natural ingredients. I didn’t go around asking people to smell my breath but it felt fresh to me.  🙂 The part I loved is that it’s natural.  Using natural toothpaste is just another way to move my family away from artificial ingredients and into a healthier lifestyle.  That’s not to say I’m giving up my free traditional toothpaste.  I’ll just be more mindful of the sales and discounts for Toms of Maine products in the future.

Have you tried Toms of Maine Wicked Fresh toothpaste?

In preparation for Tommee Tippee’s Traveling with Tiny Tots Tour, I was provided with 2 Tommee Tippee Explora Lil’ Sippee Cups to review!  You can join in the fun at Babies R Us on Saturday, November 6th from 12-3pm to get traveling tips, discounts and more!  Tommee Tippee wants to share with you products to make traveling with infants and toddlers easy and stress free this holiday season.

Tommee Tippee offers a wide range of products from infant to toddler.  After weaning, Tommee Tippee provides 5 cup stages perfect for every stage of your child’s oral development.  Stage 1 is an easy transition from breast to cup while stage 5 has an interactive, flip-top straw.  All of the explora sippee cups have a drip-proof valve and silicone top.

It is important to me to have cups for my children that are BPA and phthalate free.  I strive to reduse my children’s exposure to harmful chemicals and would expect the same from my child’s cups.  Tommee Tippee has provided exactly what I look for in produccts for my children.

I personally find it beneficial to have cups that are easy to clean and don’t have too many parts for me to keep track of after each use. Time is of the essence with new (and veteran) mom’s, so cups that are dishwasher safe are a must.

Tommee Tippee prides itself on providing products with the following features and benefits:
