My Shopping Trip

My CVS Trip

I ran to CVS early on Sunday to get the Zhu-Zhu Pet deal.  Life has been so crazy this week that I didn’t get my trip posted for you.  After sale & coupon, I paid $9.98 for 4 zhu-zhu pets!!!

CVS coupon matchups good through tomorrow.

4 Zhu-Zhu pets
1 Charmin Basic
1 ThermaCare Heat Wrap
1 Schick Hydro Razor
– B2G1 CVS coupon for Zhu-zhu pet
-$1/1 charmin coupon
-$1/1 thermacare coupon
-Free schick hydro coupon from home mailer
-$15.35 ECB’s

Total Paid $0.23
Total Saved $62.58
Earned $7.79 ECB’s ($4 Schick, $2.79 thermacare, $1 green bag tag)

Notice that I paid less than I should have.  I knew my total seemed off when I was in the store, but  I didn’t realize until later they took off the regular price ($9.99) for the razor coupon, not the $8.79 sale price.

I also went to Farm Fresh on Wednesday.  My best deals were 4 free cream cheese, 2 free sea salt, 2 Lea & Perrins for $0.19 each & 2 Crystal Farms cheese for $0.50 each.

How did you do this week?

in CVS, My Shopping Trip, Other Deals

Disclosure: This post may contain an affiliate link.

I went to CVS & Walgreens on Thanksgiving Day to take advantage of some of the great freebies.  I shared my Black Friday Drug Store Shopping plan on Wednesday, but Walgreens didn’t work out as expected.  Unfortunately, the Secret Expression deodorant wasn’t on sale, it was the spray.  That threw my entire plan off, so I worked this out while in the store.

I was thrilled with my CVS trip!  I realized when going through my receipts that the Gillette Odor Shield Deodorant limit is actually 2 instead of 1.  I may go back for another one!  Also, the Volvo Pkwy store had items on an end shelf if you’re looking for some of the freebies that aren’t on the aisle shelves.

After a stressful morning (you know the ones when everything goes wrong) I made it to Farm Fresh.  I stocked up on coffee and cheap dish washing detergent.  I also picked up corn for LuLu’s Thanksgiving party.  The corn was $5.78!  That’s what happens when you use your cell phone to check your personal email and the app didn’t work for awhile.  Anyways…

See my Farm Fresh Coupon Matchups

3 Folgers Coffee $14.97
2 Orville Redenbacher $0.98 (see below)

Friskies cat food $1 (sorry, I thought the ad said $3.99 each, not $4.99 this morning)
2 Peter Pan $1
2 finish gel $1.78
1 finish quantum $0.24
1 Finish jet dry $0.24
6 green giant boxed veggies $0.60

Total Paid $28.65

I’d mentioned the Orville Redenbacher promo if you found specially marked boxes.  I was able to find them at the Mt.Pleasant store, box pictured is the only one I saw with the promo.  I picked up 2 boxes, so I scored 4 FREE redbox rentals!  The coupons don’t expire until 09/30/11, so I have plenty of time to use the free rentals and coupons
