First, my kids are not going to eat pudding and Chef Boyardee everyday.  This will actually last us a very long time.  Second, I forgot to take the coupons off my printer so I’ll be heading back out in a bit for the YoCrunch yogurt & Deer Park water.

Want to hear something funny?  I’ve been in a panic all week that I was going to go over my grocery budget.  We had $18 left in the grocery fund and I needed regular and organic milk, bread, fruit & sugar.  Not to mention the deals I wanted to get a Farm Fresh today.  I had spent a bit more than I planned during my monthly Trader Joe’s trip, so I was getting stressed.

Then it occurred to me that I didn’t go to the bank 2 weeks ago.  Oops!  The good news is, my 2 week grocery budget stretched for almost 4 weeks including a Trader Joe’s trip.  I went to the bank today and got the money out from last paycheck.  I purchased everything I needed and some junk we just wanted.  I’ll put the remaining money in the bank for my Savings Pledge (we get paid again this Friday).

Stretching the $18 until Friday would have saved me the cookie calories when I munch on those in a bit, though 🙂

I made a quick stop by Farm Fresh today for the Instant Savings Promo.  I had $1/2 Kraft with a Touch of Philadelphia coupons, so I decided to do the promo since we were almost out of cheese.  That’s almost as bad as being out of coffee 🙂

Luckily, I was able to get the last 2 Colgate toothpaste.  I wanted 4 (2 coupons) but I was happy not to buy 6 Vitaminwater’s at $0.75 each.

Oh a side note, I think my daughter is stealing my coupons.  Seriously, I keep finding them in her room. And I’m missing 2 Tide coupons!  I have a little photo album that I’ll be putting together for her “coupon book” so I’ll at least know where to find my coupons when they go missing.
