I was surprised at the lack of Farm Fresh and Harris Teeter shoppers this morning.  Maybe everyone is still recovering from Spring Break.

My first trip was to Farm Fresh.  Everything should be on list 1 and list 2 matchups except for the Jose Ole and Tide Detergent.  I had an old $2/1 Jose Ole printable making each box just $0.99 and a $2/1 Tide mailer coupon giving me $1.99 detergent.  Also, I have the Wholly Guac on my matchups, but I got the salsa free after the same coupon.  We just prefer salsa.

FREE salsa, dog treats, cat treats & Kashi cereal bars.

Total Paid: $15.10
Total Saved: $56.32
80%

My next trip was to Harris Teeter where I only used a few coupons.  Again, all the matchups are on list 1 or list 2.  I’m loving all the coffee sales recently!  FREE butter and Neutrogena.

Total Paid: $10.33
Total Saved: $46.68

Today was not a good day for shopping.  Well, it was but I was way off my game.  I wasn’t thinking and bought the pop tarts at Harris Teeter instead of Farm Fresh (BIG mistake).  THEN I didn’t find my 2nd Gold Peak Tea coupon until I came home from shopping.  I figure my carelessness cost me about $2.50 today.  On the plus side, my husband has a ton of drinks for work now.  We also refill the empty Powerade bottles, so that should last us awhile.

I just have a picture of my shopping bags from Farm Fresh.  Most of my purchases were staying in the garage, so I didn’t want to unload them onto the table then have to carry everything back to the garage fridge.

1 Gold Peak Tea = FREE
9 Powerade = $9
10 Fuze = FREE
2 Simply Orange Juice = $2
2 Hanover Pretzel = $1
2 Trident Gum = FREE
2 belVita = $1.98
Mushrooms = $1

Total Paid: $15.35
Total Saved: $25

I already mentioned my mistake at Harris Teeter today.  So sad.

2 Cheerios = $0.45
2 Trix = $1.89
Ball Park Hot Dogs = Meal Deal $5.99 – $0.55 Q = $4.89
Hot Dog Buns = MD
Cape Code Chips = MD
Sprite 2L = MD
2 Maxwell House Coffee = $3.54
3 Pop tarts = $5.41
4 Capri Sun = $6.88
2 Vanilla Extra = 1 free & 1 $0.97 (used Rain Check)
1 Pepperidge Farm Raisin Bread= $1.34
8 Yoplait Cups = $2.80
6 Birds Eye Steamfresh = $3
– $0.50 eVIC coupon for Trix
– $0.50 eVIC coupon for vanilla
-$0.40 eVIC coupon for Yoplait

Total Paid: $29.79
Total Saved: $58.10

My Farm Fresh Shopping Trip & Free Food Lion Groceries 03/28

My first shopping trip this morning was to Food Lion to get my FREE bag of groceries.  A purchase was required to get the free bag, so I bought grapes for $1.55 since it was on my shopping list already.  The offer was available to the first 200 customers, so stores are likely sold out now.

I also went to Farm Fresh to take advantage of a few of the Catalina offers.  The cereal is more than I would normally pay. However, I need milk later this week so I figured it was almost a wash.  I was actually excited about the marshmallow deal today.  I purchased Rice Krispies last week, so now I can make Rice Krispies Treats for the kids Easter parties.

Total Paid: $16 (with round up)
Total Saved $19.10
Earned Free milk CAT ($4.50 value) and (4) $1 CATS’s

My Harris Teeter Triples and Farm Fresh Shopping Trips 03/21

I’ve missed Harris Teeter Triples!  It was so nice to get a little bit extra for our coupons valued at $0.99 or less.  I was unable to get the kids moving fast enough this morning, so I didn’t make it to HT until 7:30 (after my oldest got on the bus).  There were several items already sold out, but I’m hopeful they will restock.  I want to get my hands on a few more of those free and cheap items.

I believe all my purchases are included in the matchups except for the Quaker Oatmeal Cookies and Quaker Stila.  My 03/25/12 RP came in the mail yesterday and included a $0.55 coupon (I think that was the value) for each product.

2 Tasters Choice instant = FREE
2 Franks Hot sauce = FREE
2 Ricola = FREE
2 Margaret Holmes = FREE
2 Silk almondmilk singles = FREE
1 Quaker Stila = FREE
1 Mardi Gras Napkins = FREE (had e-VIC coupon)
8 yoplait yogurt = $3
2 Blistex = $0.68
2 Dole Pineapple = $0.48
1 Haribo Gummy Bear = $0.39
1 Quaker Cookie = $0.35
2 Chex Mix – lg bags = $1.20 & $0.70 (1 e-VIC coupon)
1 Soft Scrub Gel = $1.15

Total Paid: $7.93
Total Saved: $39.89

I didn’t want much at Farm Fresh this week, so I picked up a few of the sale items plus milk and doritos. I have a nice little stockpile of juice pouches now so the kiddos should be happy.

Milk = $3.29
Doritos = $2.14
2 Velveeta Skillet = $0.58
2 Kraft Milkbite = $1
2 Rice Krispies = $1.98
1 Krave = $0.59
1 Crunchy Nut = $0.59
4 Propel = $2
4 Capri Sun = $5.47
Round up Charity donation = $0.95

Total Paid: $19
Total Saved: $21.29

I do plan to go back to Harris Teeter once or twice more to see what has been restocked.  I also need to pick up eVIC butter and bread.  Since I’m under budget for the month, I’m planning a trip to Trader Joe’s this week as well.

I made a late trip to Farm Fresh for their Mega Coupon Event this morning.  I was disappointed (but not surprised) to find the Eight o’clock ground coffee gone.  I’m hoping there will be truck in by Tuesday, so I can pick up a couple of bags of cheap coffee.

I was excited this morning to see a $2 off Caribou K-cups coupon in the SmartSource insert.  However, I overlooked that the coupon was DND in my haste to hit the store.  I ended up paying more that I had intended since my coupon didn’t double.

Here is my little haul:

1 FF Burger Buns $1.19
1 FF Hotdog buns $1.19
1 Baby Carrots $1.69
1 Asparagus $1.60
1 Caribou K cups $6.99
2 Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls $0.60
1 Garlic Knots $0.50
2 Alexia Fries $1.98
2 Purina One Beyond FREE
1 Waggin Tail Treats FREE
1 Colgate Toothpaste FREE
2 Goody’s Powder FREE
2 BC Powder FREE
2 Philadelphia Indulgence ($3 – $1.50/1 old printable) FREE
1 Seventh Generation Dish Soap ($2.99-$2/1 from Target event) FREE
1 Seventh Generation Spray ($3.89-$2/1 from Target event) FREE

Total Paid: $16.04 -bit higher than intended due to coupon not doubling plus I bought a few dinner items
Total Saved: $48.58
77% savings

My Farm Fresh & Harris Teeter Shopping Trips 03/07/12

by Dana Zeliff on March 7, 20122012-03-07
in Farm Fresh Weekly Ads, Harris Teeter Weekly Ad, My Shopping Trip

My Farm Fresh & Harris Teeter shopping trips aren’t terribly exciting again this week.  I bought veggies, milk, coffee creamer, eggs and a few other odds and ends. I have most of what I need for meals, but I will put to use a few of today’s purchases.

I’ll use the eggs and cheese for quiche one night.  I already have the pie crusts from a Bloom sale and cooked bacon in the freezer.  I’m also making Crock Pot Chicken later this week and will use some of the grapes in Chicken salad.   The asparagus will go with dinner one night this week as well.  Although my trip looks a bit odd, it will provide fillers to help feed us for the next week.

I’m heading out toward Trader Joe’s this weekend, so I’ll get the rest of our fresh fruit for the week there.  Other than that, I’m done shopping.

Farm Fresh:

Milk $3.39 – $1/1 store peelie = $2.39
Silk Protein Milk $2.89 – $1/1 store peelie + $1/1 Silk printable = FREE
Asparagus $1.54
Green Grapes $2.50
Mushrooms $1.79
1 Natures Own Bread $1.34
2 Kraft Cheese $3.98
2 Del Monte Fruit Cups = $0.67 each
Minute Maid Juice Box $3.79 – $1/1 printable = $1.79
2 Ruffles Chips = $3
2 Colgate Toothpaste = FREE

Total Paid: $18.19
Total Saved $17.60

I found a Land o Lakes Egg peelie coupon today, so you can get the eggs cheap this week if you don’t have the old printable coupon!

Harris Teeter:

2 Organic Milk $4.97 each (after Rain Check)
4 Half & Half $7.98
1 Pepperidge Farm Bread = $1.34
1 Starbucks Coffee = $4.47
2 Totinos Pizza Rolls = $0.99 for both
2 Land o Lakes Eggs $1.99 – $0.75/1 old printable = $0.49 each
$1 Donation for American Cancer

Total Paid: $27.14
Total Saved: $19.46
